Teaching and Training
The UNESCO Chair “Heritage and Cultural Landscape” promotes educational activities aimed at disseminating interdisciplinary knowledge and training professionals and students in the fields of cultural heritage, landscape, planning, and sustainability. Teaching initiatives are carried out at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and extension levels, both in Brazil and through international cooperation.

Postgraduate Program in Built Environment and Sustainable Heritage (Master's and Doctorate) – UFMG
Focus on the connection between critical theory, preservation practices, and sustainability applied to heritage and the urban landscape. -
Postgraduate Program in Geography – UFRJ
Emphasis on territorial planning, cultural geography, and public policies focused on landscape and heritage. -
Thematic undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of heritage, cultural landscape, urban history, territorial management, and the right to the city, offered regularly at the participating institutions.
